for dave
(ok, i erased the picture -- come and see me to see it :) i don't want it posted here, so sorry!)
in response to dave's comment, here you go. i have hesitated to post much on the house because i don't close until the end of the month. i think it will feel more like mine then. but, here is an outside picture and later, i will post some of the inside. i absolutely love the inside of this house. it has vaulted archways that are beautiful and a fireplace, etc. decorating is going to be interesting. my family laughs at me, but the way i think of it is earth, wind, and fire :) i want to use natural elements-type of styles and of course some mediterranean styles. the master bedroom will be done in 'earth' or garden greens. ee cummings will find his words on the walls. the great room and kitchen will be 'wind' in whites and mother-of-pearl and stone/urns, etc. that is where i am having tile countertops replacing the ones that are there now. 'fire' or some red/black will be a subtle contribution of color to the white. i think my art/work room will be done in rain/blues. and i am still working on the guest bedroom.
a few extras i am excited about:
the 'development' will have 17 miles of walking trails
a tennis court -- almost in my backyard
a pool
some other stuff (did i say a tennis court in my backyard?)
each mini-subdivision will have a different style (ie hardy plank craftsman houses, traditional brick, chicago-style row, cottages, etc.) -- totaling 16 different groups
bottom line is GOD IS GOOD.
come and visit me! i finally have a place for people to stay :)

sounds amazing, though when i first read it i didn't see the whole development thing and thought you had your own pool, and tennis courts, and picture like this old civil war home similar to the house in "a good year." still i'm impressed, and very happy for you. i love the idea of ee on the wall, and i think you should let me pick a line or two to go on it. you'll have to send me your address over email and i'll map quest you. i'm going on a road trip in august that way. i'm going to visit some family and friends from school. my email is davehodge@hotmail.com. thanks for the post. i head back to camp with my jr. highers tomarrow. i'm super excited about this week. take care then.

haha, dave, that is funny :) i just reread the post and think it sounds ridiculous. yeah, i am afraid that you would pass thru, take one glance, and think, "wow -- she sure made that place sound greater than it is." bottom line, finally having any place to live is 'greater than it is' to me. whatever it is, i am so thankful!
[by the way, don't be impressed -- my life is hilarious to me in many ways. yeah, can't really explain what i mean, and i am not making anysense...nevermind] i'll email you the coordinates, but i don't think the street is even on google earth yet.
