MEET RACHEL! ... this is the picture i see every time i open my cell phone.

this was from a few wks ago, and i am not sure what made me think about finally putting this on here, but here it is... Rachel was my camper at Camp Horizon. She is truly precious. we took this picture on my phone after a long conversation about boys :) (what else does a twelve-yr-old girl want to talk about?) and her dad who passed away two years ago. we bonded that sunday afternoon -- both with each other and with a box of kleenex. i miss her. i really, really learned a lot from her and felt so honored to get to spend time with her.
