imagination station

i had a really meaningful night with some friends. my eyes have been opened i think, and i am sorry and repentent and hopeful... and lots of other things, but my vocabulary is struggling at the moment. it is 1 am, and i am sleepy. that i hope is an excuse that will suffice. but actually, i thought of something driving home tonight that i want to share. and it is not really that meaningful or thought-provoking, but i think that it might make you smile the next time you drive to work or school or play or whatever it is that you do.

okay, i started doing this a while ago, and it is great enjoyment :), but it probably won't work unless you regularly pass people while you are driving who are running or walking, etc. chattanooga is a great place for this, 'cause the whole city is out and about, if you will. but, anyway, on with the fun: when you see someone, put their movements and thoughts and general attitude to the music in your car. sounds stupid, but even flip through stations, and just like a movie, grandma will be walking across the bridge with attitude singin' "i am free... free fallin'!" and a little new mother will be pushing a stroller to --- you pick it. before you know it, the world out your front window starts changing. everyone is moving to music. their rhythm matches the rhythm in your radio -- and you start thinking that maybe they are in that movie that you are in... and whoolah.

andy, you keep commenting that you are a geek. do you feel better? this is what i do on a daily basis, and i get great enjoyment. maybe it won't work for anyone else out there who might happen to read this, but i love it. remember in like 4th grade, when kids talked about being bored in class and imagining what it would be like to kiss each of the boys (or girls, andy) in your class...or maybe that was only in my middle school, but it is kinda like that, but without the whole kissing component.

well, goodnight friends. i have managed to blow 15 minutes talking about nothing in particular. sometimes that is good when your heart and mind are full. i am tired... off to bed. have a long line to stand in tomorrow at school... not looking forward to it. but, praise God, it is one of the last times!

I would rather be called "Curious" rather than anonymous but whatever.
Prayer for those people walking across the bridge, getting out of their car, pushing that baby, seems a bit more productive than singing "Free Falling?"
Just a thought-

to curious,

i was thinking. could be dangerous, but don't you think that if curiosity were your only intentions18 you would have no reason to remain anonymous?

well... as to your comment. sure, of course that would be more productive. but, if you are who you say you are 'curious' and you are who i think you are (?), then you know who i am enough to probably not say something like that to me. 'cause you would know that i absolutely meant no harm...okay, and of course you mean no harm either, but then why does it hurt, just a little?
